Mountain Coffee
How can I make good Blue Mountain coffee?
Every time I go I drink in Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, and bring home. Always take soil fabric, follow the instructions and still can not get to try the restaurants. I bought brands that this "certified" stamp is authentic. So what is the secret? Do I have to use the water of Jamaica? If yes … I'm screwed: (This time I made it home and grains in the hope that perhaps are better fresh groundwater.
When it comes to coffee, there are two rules: 1. Arabica 2. Fresh, fresh, fresh. Blue Mountain Arabica is, if you have one. But a good coffee does not stay very long, no matter what. You must be roasted beans are as fresh as possible, after 8 weeks, are dead. You can try things like frozen and stored in containers in vacuum to give a little more time, but 8 weeks is the maximum time after roasting you can get a good glass of a roast. Then grind just before beer, and allowed to drink after beer. I take some with me in a thermos at work, and is much better and more affordable than you can get to a coffee shop. Don Francisco has an online catalog of the great cafés that will be sent to your home in a few days after roasting. Keep the grain, not the floor unless you want to test their espresso, which is also great because it's cool. Just do not buy too much and be sure to drink in a month or two.
